After the bustling Christmas celebrations and the colorful New Year’s Eve festivities, I longed for peace and freedom. What could be better than a road trip around Tenerife? With the charming VW T3 campervan “Tweety,” I set out to explore the entire island. Traveling with Tweety on Tenerife – it was the best decision of my life!

First Stop: Tranquility in the North

My adventure began in Puerto de la Cruz. As soon as I arrived, I soaked in the relaxed atmosphere of the old town—a wonderful contrast to the holiday rush. Traveling in a campervan meant I could stop wherever I pleased. I parked Tweety at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Atlantic and enjoyed my first sunset—right from my bed!

The north of the island is known for its lush landscapes. I visited the Botanical Garden and hiked in the Anaga Mountains. Thanks to Tweety, I could spontaneously decide to stay overnight near the trail. This flexibility made the road trip truly special.
